  I am sad to report that this store has closed. I am not sure why. It got lots of business and was in a neighborhood that really needed it unlike some of the larger stores in outlying areas.

  GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF NEW BRITAIN FOREVER! The whites make it their priority to oppress minorities. They don't want to fund New Britain schools. I've personally seen teachers tell the class they don't need to go to college knowing full well that the future will demand it. I would see police at this school everyday as if they were expecting a major threat to stop by. Remember New Britain has the most aggressive DCF in the state, so if your children mention anything negative, expect DCF to extort you. Just meet them in their office, never your home, never sign anything and never admit to anything. Train your kids since now to have cool things to say about you. Treat them right and teach them much and you'll be alright. A well fed child is a well behaved child so make sure they're getting oatmeal, stews and organic multivitamin. Nutrition has been proven to improve behavior in children with behavior problems. Put them in a sport or martial art. It'll give them discipline. Most importantly, be their life coach. You make sure to teach them to be relentless and never give up and have tenacity over everything. Get them encyclopedias either online or book to learn from everyday. Point is for them to consume information everyday. Put them in a reading club or just make sure they read everyday. Puzzles, checkers, video games help. Avoid those games like Minecraft or Roadblocks. The skill of learning new skills and adaptability will be very important for your child in the future. Teach them to use their intuition/commonsense, use their senses/awareness and to think on their feet. Put them in competitive shooting since young. Set them up to learn Spanish, French, German and Arabic. There's plenty of computer programs you can buy for them to learn and practice these languages everyday. Worst case scenario, take then out of school and put them on an online school. Seeking a good island to live in, it would benefit your family a ton. Quality if life over everything. Expect your kids to be bullied here in New Britain and the teachers not intercede. New Britain is garbage to begin with. The people here are horrible. Trust me when I say it's cursed. I've live here almost 30 years. Please burn all bridges to NB and never look back. I did and I have such peace living in a nice quiet town where people aren't aggressive, agitated, rude or dangerous. NB is like a little New York and Puerto Rico (the bad part). Heavily influenced by both. Puerto Ricans are internationally known for being warm and open but many of them in CT, especially NB, are dangerous. Seek a safer, more calm town to live in. Bristol is the best alternative to start with. It has cheap rent like New Britain but it's safer. From there you can work towards an even better town. If you really want to focus on your life and build it, you can't do it from NB. There's too much bad energy in NB and expect nonsense to rub off on your child. The state hates minorities and could care less about their education, safety, future and families. Look elsewhere. Better yet, leave CT for good. This state is sinking and fast. P.S.-Save, don't spend income tax. Have contingency plans ready just in case you have to leave the country fast. Never leave things for last moment. Have passports, Birth certificates, Social security cards ready with cash in a back pack for you to leave if you have to. Read the book, HOW TO BE INVISIBLE, by JJ Luna.

  Perkins has arrived travel for 4-7 mission trips for many years now. They are very dependable and we can rely on them to take care of our travel needs. They can work with the airlines to get us what we need in ways only an agent can, and they ensure everyone in our groups are on the correct flights. They are really awesome-and this is the first review I have ever written. I highly recommend them .

• Review of "Kenney Luddy Funeral Home" at New Britain

  The service my family and I received was nothing but professional. We decided to call Luddy & Peterson's Funeral Home on a recommendation and so glad we did. Laurin came to our home, which is a service most funeral homes do not provide. She was kind, courteous, compassionate, prompt and knowledgeable. She most defiantly put my family at ease. She was able to provide a full list of helpful tools as my family were not sure what steps to take next. My grandmother was cremated. We requested a picture of her before she went in. They prepared her in a loving manner and we were able to send her in with family pictures. In the process of finding a funeral home we quickly realized it is very cut throat business, we never felt any pressure from Luddy's and will use them in the future.
